These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to your access to and use of lingotea.com (the “Website”) and any Lingotea mobile application (the “App”). The Website provides information about Lingotea and its language-learning products; the App includes account-based features. By using the Website or App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use them.

About the Website and App

The Website provides information about Lingotea. The App lets users sign in with Google Sign-In and save learning progress and preferences to an account. App features and availability may change. Website descriptions, vocabulary examples, and illustrations are informational and do not guarantee a particular feature or learning outcome.

App accounts

Some App features require an account and use Google Sign-In. Your use of Google Sign-In is also subject to Google’s terms and policies. You are responsible for keeping access to your Google account secure. For information about App data and account-deletion requests, see our Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

You may use the Website and App for lawful, personal purposes. You agree not to:

• Use the Website or App in violation of applicable law or another person’s rights.
• Attempt to disrupt, damage, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the Website, App, accounts, or related infrastructure.
• Use automated means to collect content or access the Website or App in a way that interferes with their operation.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or create derivative works from the App, except where applicable law permits.
• Misrepresent Lingotea content as an official endorsement or use the services to deceive or harm others.

Our content and intellectual property

Unless otherwise indicated, the Website’s and App’s text, design, graphics, learning content, and Lingotea branding are owned by or used with permission by Lingotea and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the App for your personal learning, subject to these Terms. You may view the Website and share links to its public pages. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or commercially exploit Lingotea content without prior permission, except where applicable law allows.

Third-party names and marks remain the property of their respective owners. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of intellectual property to you.

Availability and changes

We may update, suspend, or discontinue the Website, App, or any feature, subject to applicable law. We do not guarantee that either service will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free. We may revise these Terms by posting an updated version here. The effective date above indicates when the current version takes effect.

The Website, App, and their content are provided for informational and learning purposes. To the extent permitted by applicable law, they are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. Lingotea does not warrant that the services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every purpose.

The Website and App do not guarantee language-learning progress or outcomes and are not a substitute for professional advice. You are responsible for how you use them.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Lingotea will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or opportunity arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Website or App. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, or affects rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.

Governing law

These Terms are subject to the laws that apply where the responsible Lingotea operator is established, without limiting any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you. Any dispute will be handled by a court with jurisdiction under applicable law.
